CRISP (Continual Renewal and Improvement of System Performance) is a holistic approach to managing. It is a comprehensive and flexible system to help you improve quality/productivity/safety. CRISP will improve your culture so you can serve your customers better. The CRISP system results in people working together in teams to solve system problems. Traditional management theory strives to “meet specifications” and get the most out of your existing system. CRISP teaches managers and technical employees how to study and improve your systems so it operates “on target with minimum variation.” With CRISP your people will learn and apply profound knowledge. They will embrace continual improvement so it will become the way your people think about work.


CRISP integrates continual improvement throughout your organizations by breaking all down barriers that exist in your operations.


How we do it

 

Every company has more problems than time and money to solve them with. To improve your competitive position takes continual improvement. This means everyone in your business must be on a daily productivity hunt to improve operations though teamwork and innovative ideas. Not just for new products but for what is going on right now.

Managers and technical employees must learn how to achieve synergistic solutions to everyday problems in all aspects of business; R&D, Sales, Marketing, Production, Safety. People's thinking about work will have to change from focusing on trying to fix the blame for things that go wrong to fixing the system so things come out right.

Profound Knowledge provides a map of theory to help us understand the organizations we work in. With Profound Knowledge individuals are transformed. It gives new meaning to life, work, to numbers and interactions between people.

The basic parts of Profound Knowledge are:

·         Systems thinking

·         Variation

·         Knowledge

·         Psychology

You do not have to eminent in any part or all four parts in order to understand and apply Profound Knowledge. The four parts work together. They cannot be separated. Knowledge about psychology is incomplete without knowledge about variation. For example all people are different but this is not ranking people. Performance of anyone is governed mostly by the system they work in and this is the responsibility of management. You should not react to variation as an indicator of good or bad performance by individuals or system outcomes.

Culture. It is a well-known fact culture drives or impedes the performance of any organization. How people think, act and behave toward each other impacts how they work together and with customers. We have the ability to measure the culture and sub-cultures in your organization to determine if they are working positively or negatively on your performance. We provide a plan to define and create your "ideal" culture.

 

Teams. Basically, there is no place in business for people to practice the skills they need to function on and as a team. We know how to let your teams evaluate their performance and practice team skills. The fact is, most organizations defeat teams and teamwork through their existing management structures that discourage teams from working together - until now. We have spent years learning how to help people obtain and improve the interpersonal and rational skills required to be an effective team member. You may already have teams. We know how to make them better.


Tools. If you are going to be enabled you must have the proper tools to get the job done. We know what those tools are and will show your people how to apply them. You are probably using some of the tools. We know how make them better.


Technology. The proper role of technology to serve people, put their thinking to work efficiently. Our partners help us make technology efficient and effective to make the job of improving the system faster and easier. Our technology will make things better.


Our CRISP system is a multifaceted approach. It ranges from one-to -one evaluative consulting to interactive workshops on culture, team-building, problem-solving and process improvement. All are supported with follow-up to ensure your people are doing CRISP, not just thinking about it.
